These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Assettrac.ie / Ryela websites, mobile applications (Android and iOS), and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important: The Services may be used for operational and compliance workflows (e.g. inspections, driver checks, fleet and job tracking). You are responsible for ensuring the Services meet your legal and regulatory requirements and for the accuracy of any records created using the Services.

1. About Us

The Services are provided by Assettrac.ie / Ryela (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you need support, contact info@assettrac.ie.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and use.

3. Business Use & Authority

If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. In that case, “you” and “your” also refers to that organisation.

4. Subscription, Billing & Payments

4.1 Plans & Fees

Some features require a paid subscription or paid plan. Fees, billing frequency, and plan details will be shown at the time of purchase, on invoices, or in your account settings.

4.2 App Store Purchases (Android & iOS)

If you purchase a subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, billing and renewal are handled by the relevant store provider. Your purchase is subject to the store’s terms in addition to these Terms.

4.3 Website Purchases (Stripe)

If you purchase through our website, payments may be processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

4.4 Renewals & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
  • Access to paid features may continue until the end of the paid period.

4.5 Refunds

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. App store purchases are governed by the refund policies of the relevant store provider. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us at info@assettrac.ie.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, servers, or systems.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt or damage the Services.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where permitted by law).
  • Use the Services to store or transmit content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.

6. Customer Data, Ownership & Responsibility

6.1 Your Data

You (and/or your organisation) retain ownership of the data you submit, upload, or generate within the Services (“Customer Data”), including photos, logs, inspection records, job notes, and user-entered information.

6.2 Our Use of Customer Data

We process Customer Data to provide and operate the Services, provide support, and maintain system security and reliability. Further details are described in our Privacy Policy.

6.3 Accuracy & Compliance Disclaimer

The Services may assist with record keeping and operational workflows; however, we do not guarantee that the Services will ensure legal compliance, pass audits, prevent accidents, or meet every regulatory requirement. You are responsible for:

  • Verifying the accuracy of records created within the Services
  • Ensuring your workflows satisfy legal and regulatory obligations
  • Maintaining required backups or exports where needed for compliance

7. Availability, Changes & Support

  • We aim to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
  • We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that affect availability or features.
  • We may add, remove, or modify features to improve the Services or comply with legal requirements.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, design, trademarks, logos, and content (excluding Customer Data) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g. payment providers, app stores). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • Your use creates security, legal, or operational risks
  • We are required to do so by law or regulators

You may stop using the Services at any time. If you cancel a subscription, you may retain access until the end of the billing period depending on the plan and purchase method.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Services in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or, if greater, the minimum amount permitted by applicable law).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your Customer Data, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Where permitted, you agree that the Irish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available through our website and/or apps and will be effective from the date shown above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
